Reachable

Set up Callcentric in Reachable

Works

Callcentric is a VoIP provider in the United States. This is how you add your Callcentric account to Reachable, so your phone rings, even with the app closed.

  • You enter: Callcentric number (1777...) and SIP password.
  • The password: the extension's SIP password, not your website password.
  • One device per account at a time.
  • Voicemail: call *123.

What to enter

From version 1.1 Callcentric is in the app's list. Pick Callcentric and fill this in; the app fills in the other settings itself.

Callcentric number (1777...)17770001234Your 11-digit 1777 number, for example 17770001234. For an extra extension add its 3 digits, for example 17770001234101.
SIP password••••••••The SIP password of the extension, not your website password.

Where to find your details

  1. Log in to My Callcentric and click Extensions.
  2. Click Modify next to the extension: that is where you set its SIP password.
  3. Your user name is your 1777 number, for an extra extension followed by its 3 digits.

Right now: with Other SIP provider

In version 1.0 Callcentric is not in the list yet. Choose Other SIP provider and fill this in. The fields marked (optional) are under Advanced.

Good to know

  • One device at a time. Callcentric lets only one device sign in per account at a time. If you also use this account on a desk phone or in another app, they keep taking it over from each other. Then give Reachable an account of its own. Reachable on two phones counts as one device: only our server signs in at Callcentric.
  • Use an extension of its own for each device; Callcentric gives you up to 50 extra.
  • Do not switch on the IP Whitelist for this extension: Callcentric itself advises against it for apps on your phone. If it is on, add our addresses (2.28.204.233 and 167.233.187.96).
  • Leave the port empty. Callcentric's server points to the right port itself.
  • Dial US numbers as 1, area code and number, and abroad with 011 or 00 and the country code. Callcentric does not offer encrypted calls (TLS or SRTP).
