Set up Cheapconnect in Reachable
WorksCheapconnect is a VoIP provider in the Netherlands. This is how you add your Cheapconnect account to Reachable, so your phone rings, even with the app closed.
- You enter: Number or SIP account and password.
- The password: the password of the number or SIP account (in the welcome email), not necessarily your portal login.
- One device per account at a time.
- Voicemail: call 1233.
What to enter
Reachable knows Cheapconnect already. Pick Cheapconnect in the list and fill this in; the server and the rest are ready.
Type your number the way you are used to, for example 06 12345678. The app turns it into the form Cheapconnect wants: 31612345678.
Where to find your details
- Your user name is your number and the password is in Cheapconnect's welcome email and in the Cheapconnect portal.
- Do you also use this number on a desk phone or in another app? Then make a free extra SIP account in the portal under Prepaid VoIP > SIP accounts (it starts with 777) and use that here.

Prefer to enter it yourself? Choose Other SIP provider and fill this in. The fields marked (optional) are under Advanced.

Good to know
- One device at a time. Cheapconnect lets only one device sign in per account at a time. If you also use this account on a desk phone or in another app, they keep taking it over from each other. Then give Reachable an account of its own. Reachable on two phones counts as one device: only our server signs in at Cheapconnect.
- Want your desk phone and Reachable to ring together? Give each its own extra SIP account and set your number in the portal to Alleen doorschakelen with Follow me Gelijktijdig.
- Cheapconnect wants numbers in international form. You simply type 06 12345678; the app dials it as 0031612345678. Short numbers such as 1233 go as you type them.
- Cheapconnect works over UDP and does not encrypt calls.
