Placetel is a cloud phone system in Germany. This is how you add your Placetel account to Reachable, so your phone rings, even with the app closed.

What to enter

From version 1.1 Placetel is in the app's list. Pick Placetel and fill this in; the app fills in the other settings itself.

Where to find your details

1. Log in to Placetel.
2. Go to Administration > VoIP-Ziele and open your VoIP target.
3. Under VoIP-Zugangsdaten you find the SIP user name, SIP password and server.

Right now: with Other SIP provider

In version 1.0 Placetel is not in the list yet. Choose Other SIP provider and fill this in. The fields marked (optional) are under Advanced.

Good to know

• More devices. Placetel names no maximum number of devices per account. If things go wrong while you also use the account elsewhere, give Reachable an account of its own. Reachable on two phones counts as one device: only our server signs in at Placetel.
• Your SIP user name starts with 777. It is not your email address and not your website login.
• If your VoIP target is of the BLF type, the server is blf.finotel.com instead of fpbx.de. The right server is shown under VoIP-Zugangsdaten.
• If the connection does not come through well, try port 8933. Placetel offers it as an alternative to 5060.
