Set up Zadarma PBX (extension) in Reachable

Works

Zadarma PBX (extension) is a cloud phone system for customers worldwide. This is how you add your Zadarma PBX (extension) account to Reachable, so your phone rings, even with the app closed.

  • You enter: Extension login and SIP password.
  • The password: the PBX extension's password.
  • One device per account at a time.

What to enter

From version 1.1 Zadarma PBX (extension) is in the app's list. Pick Zadarma PBX (extension) and fill this in; the app fills in the other settings itself.

Extension login1234-100Your extension login, for example 1234-100. Find it under My PBX > Extension numbers.
SIP password••••••••That extension's password, from the same page.

Where to find your details

  1. Log in to your personal account at zadarma.com and go to My PBX > Extension numbers.
  2. The server, login (like 1234-100) and password of each extension are shown on the left.

Right now: with Other SIP provider

In version 1.0 Zadarma PBX (extension) is not in the list yet. Choose Other SIP provider and fill this in. The fields marked (optional) are under Advanced.

Encrypted calls

Zadarma PBX (extension) can encrypt your calls. Under Advanced choose Transport TLS, port 5061 and switch on Encrypt the sound (SRTP). On iPhone a lock then shows during the call.

Good to know

  • One device at a time. Zadarma PBX (extension) lets only one device sign in per account at a time. If you also use this account on a desk phone or in another app, they keep taking it over from each other. Then give Reachable an account of its own. Reachable on two phones counts as one device: only our server signs in at Zadarma PBX (extension).
  • At Zadarma one extension belongs to one person and one device. Create an extension of its own for Reachable in My PBX.
  • The login (such as 1234-100) is not the same as the short three-digit internal number.
  • Calls always work with + and the country code, for example +44 20 1234 5678.
