Set up sipgate in Reachable
Workssipgate is a cloud phone system in Germany. This is how you add your sipgate account to Reachable, so your phone rings, even with the app closed.
- You enter: SIP ID and SIP password.
- The password: the device's SIP password, not your sipgate website password.
- Voicemail: call 55000.
What to enter
From version 1.1 sipgate is in the app's list. Pick sipgate and fill this in; the app fills in the other settings itself.
SIP ID1234567e0The SIP ID of the device, for example 1234567e0. You find it next to the device in your sipgate account.
SIP password••••••••The SIP password shown next to the same device.
Where to find your details
- Log in to sipgate.
- As a user: click Telefonie on the left, then the device.
- As an admin: Accountverwaltung > User > pick the person > click the device (on sipgate neo: Apps und Geräte > Neues Gerät hinzufügen).
- The box shows SIP ID, registrar and SIP password.
Right now: with Other SIP provider
In version 1.0 sipgate is not in the list yet. Choose Other SIP provider and fill this in. The fields marked (optional) are under Advanced.
| Field in the app | What to enter |

Good to know
- More devices. sipgate names no maximum number of devices per account. If things go wrong while you also use the account elsewhere, give Reachable an account of its own. Reachable on two phones counts as one device: only our server signs in at sipgate.
- Every device at sipgate has its own SIP ID. Give Reachable a device of its own and do not reuse your desk phone's SIP ID. Each user includes two devices; an extra device costs extra at sipgate.
- Call 10000 to test your connection. That does not work when the automatic area code is on for the device.
- Encrypted calls at sipgate go through sip.sipgate.de with TLS on port 5061, and then SRTP must be on. Otherwise sipgate refuses the call.
